A belated Hello to the board.
Signed up here ages ago but havent even been lurking without posting. I just havent been doing much trout fishing of late to post anything of interest.
I mainly Salmon fish and have been online in different Forums for a while now.
I did however cut my flyfishing teeth on the rainbow lakes of the North West and enjoyed many a great day catching bows hand over fist.
I still love the thought of a bright crisp winters day fishing for bows. Which is what has brought me back to starting to fish for them again over the winter.
I'm looking to get my first double figure rainbow this winter so i'll be asking for tips and hints of where to go.
As for my favourite set up for the trout.
Like everyone i started of trawling lures on fast sinking lines but now nothing beats the full floater or slow inter with an 18ft leader and team of buzzers.. all year round. With the small Cats whisker and damsel in the box just in case.

A belated welcome then.
I hope we as a collective can help you achieve your goal of a double figure rainbow. _________________
