Straid Fishery is holding a competition on Boxing Day 2006. As with previous competitions this will be a hotly contested event.

Hi Wigger,
Alan McCartney won the competition with 3 fish for 9lb 14oz. 2nd was J.Patton with 3 fish for 8lb and 3rd was L.Steele from Antrim with 3 for 7lb 14oz. Only 3 anglers failed to catch their 3 fish limit but I kinda knew they wouldnt.
Alan won a Greenheart rod and £75 plus he got heaviest fish and won £42 in the sweep so not bad for £20
Im planning an Easter Competition so il keep you all posted on this forum.
