Just noticed that i never supplied the details for the social in June.
Fishing will be on a catch & release ticket and will cost £10 a day including boat.
Food will be £15 for the weekend which will consist of BBQ Fayre on Friday & Saturday night and bacon rolls Saturday & Sunday Morning.
Drink will be optional and not included in the price of the food so those of you that wish to drink must supply them yourselves but if any monies are left over from the food kitty this could be put towards drink if all agree.
Tea & coffee making facilities are available on site as well as a microwave.
Snacks and soft drinks are available on site.
Float tubes are allowed for those that want to bring theirs.
Straid fishes particularly well at this time of the year with good hatches of buzzer & plenty of sedge and mayfly present. Daylight in Northern Ireland is a lot longer than that in Southern England with sunsets happening around 10.30pm so the days can turn into right marathon sessions.
For those that wish to attend please put your names forward.
To follow what is happening at Straid check out the fishery section or go-to www.straidfishery.co.uk for a full & regular report direct from Adrian. _________________

We have about 15 people coming to this so far. People from England, Scotland & the South are making their way to Straid in June for what is promising to be a great social event. Remember this is not restricted to just forum members so if you want to bring your friends, kids and dare i say it wife's you are more than welcome to do so but they must be fishing and not spectating (as they do have a dendancy to nag...lol).
No all are welcome. _________________
