BFFi Stoke, England

Got back to Belfast late last night. Must say I truely enjoyed the whole weekend even though I was nursing the mother of all hang overs on the Sunday. Good to meet up with some old friends and make a few more along the way. Big thanks to Steve & the team for organising a totally superb show.
A few highlights for me was watching the exceptional skills of the tag team duo of Peter Kealey & Peter Dunne, some awsome tying skills between these 2 guys and their knowledge of all things is immense. Stevie Munn's Irish patterns are some of the best you will see & Mr Finney's detached body mayfly has that explosive edge to it.
A mention must go to Pat from Switzerland who ties of all things "Irish patterns". His cdc mayflies are some of the best I have seen and a long time was spent with him talking about different techniques and colours involved in the Irish patterns, I think we both learnt a lot from each other during the weekend.
Roll on next year and once again a big thank you to all the BFFi team.

Yes mate got them this morning. I have just give them a good rinse out, just to be sure, and have dried them off. The mallard looks very good. I have half of them on the window getting some light as the uv lightens them up even more. Thanks for that wee favour Laurie, I owe you one.

Whats all this about challenges, sharks & guts???? sounds very very dodgy Laughing Laughing Wink
