well amc i had got mine tied up but they wer sitting up at the fishery and when i came back to get thm half wer gone and havnt had the time to go buy new hooks so i have said i wasnt able to make the deadline and have apoligised and dnt think it ur position to start havn a go

This really doesn't make any sense to me as I was making a general comment about ALL who have not sent their flies to tack4, who has put a lot of effort in to organise this swap, and DEFINITELY was not QUOTE " havn a go " UNQUOTE at anyone!

chris i honestly dont think AMC had any intention of getting at anyone it was a general statement as he like a few others had managed the task quickly
i have posted a couple of times re reminders and sent my address by email to all
intially there was a big interest in the swap and i recived AMC's, Harry G's beatnicks and fossili fishes all really quickly but like almost all swaps the initial enthusiasim fades and delays occur
still no sign wayne of yours hope it is something to xmas backlog
happy and quick tying to all asap

Fly SwapSo whats the final outcome on the Swap ?
we`ve had two and a half months now lads,,if a deadline has been set and people haven`t
managed it do you want to aks someone else to step in ? or do you want to continue as it is

I'm still waiting on a reply back from Andy as to if he has received mine yet, only asked 10 days ago .
Who all else is still to send them? Chris is in Holland so has dropped out and been replaced by Phil.

What is a flyswap?

Someone is the Co-ordinator (in this case tack4). It is decided how many will be in the swap - say ten. Everyone then ties 9 files (one for each other person taking part) and posts them to the co-ordinator who then sends a fly from each other person back to you. In this case we have tied up a fly we feel we've had success with in the season. At other times everyone will tie the same fly so that you can see how other people tie a particular pattern and what variations there are.
If I've made any mistakes here please correct me.

You need to tie ten flies usually,(if you have ten tying) then you get your own back also
