GlenarmAnyone know if the doggies are in yet?

the doggies are always present at glenarm wayne, its just a matter of 100 yards. if you climb onto the rocks at glenarm the bottom is nice and sandy but if you fish by casting from the tarmac before you climb onto the stones the ground is quite rugged and the doggies are there in numbers, be prepared to lose some tackle, but the lost tackle is worth the quality of fish that can be caught. hope this helps mate,

In the colder months the doggies go out to the deeper water to breed, May/June time is when they come back into the shallower water.

sorry wayne, i only do the salt when it warm so they are always present as far as im concerned, the doggies are in, im just off the phone to my mate phil in larne, who is a regular at glenarm, they are catching a good head of doggies and pollack plus the odd mackeral at the minute, nothing of major size but the fish all count.
hope this helps mate.
