Macmillan Cancer The Big Fish 2008Macmillan Cancer Support have released the dates and venues for this years Big Fish fishing competitions in Northern Ireland.
This years venues are:

This used to be known as the £1000 tagged fish competition but this year Macmillan have changed the set-up.
Instead of just 1 tagged fish there will be 4 tagged fish per venue, with prizes of £500, £300, £200 and a booby prize.
The fish are also going to be tagged in a way that catch and release can be used in the competitions.
Other prizes include engraved tumberler plus a £40 tackle voucher for the heaviest fish, engraved tumberler plus £20 tackle voucher for heaviest bag and an engraved glass trophy and fly box for the highest sponsorship.
