I was going to go to Killylane but forgot that I said I'd go to a mate's so I'll have to leave it 'til the Sunday. Sad

Beatnik, Merv was asking about some advice in fishing Killylane on the Killylane 08 tread, it has been years since I fished it maybe you could help him with a few tactics.

Very Happy

I've only over fished it a couple of times. I spent more time rolling down the gradd slope at the battery wall as a kid!Smile

Weather permitting I will be fishing Lough Erne on the 1st. If the wave is too rough to venture out I will head further along to the lovely Loughs of Pettigoe. Regardless, I wish all a good season ahead.

killylane is one of the bleakest places ive ever fished, even on a good day u could surf on the wave going across it
Beatnik69

It wasn't too bad today. The wind was blowing diagonally from the overflow corner but you'd have been hard pressed to get a fish out of it. I think I'll leave it until te weather warms up a bit.
mick

probably a good idea, and i would think it would be better waitin till its a foot or two down, cos personally i think it fishes alot better when the water level is a bit lower.
