hey lads any alternative tyings of the traditional octopus i would love to hear from you?

Hi Ronan,
check out the Green Octopus- its a Deadly wet fly for Grisle on peaty Loughs- can 't tell you which ones though Laughing

Also if you tie the bog standard octopus & replace the ordinary golden pheasant rump feather with a long soft dark claret hackle- you gt a really good wetfly for daphnia feeding fish for the back end of the season.
