respect the angler,,,they might go elsewhere

Just back from my weekly trip to one of the department waters. While there meet a few anglers who i have known for years and have fished a brave few places. The subject got onto a recently closed fishery and the hows,,whys and ifs of the place. What transpired through the conversation was that over the last six or so months the ex fishery manager became very obnoxious and developed a attitude that was aimed at a few regulars. These regulars decided enough was enough and called time on the place citing the blatant two faced attitude of the manager as the reason for fishing elsewhere. These regulars are well respected anglers and passed the word around about the detirating running of the place,,,,,this lead to anglers not fishing the placing resulting in the manager to give up the place,,,

The morale of this is that the angler is a fishery managers livelihood,,without the angler a fishery can not survive as has been proved here,,respect should be shown to the customer and they will return,, act in the manner that was shown and it will turn around and bite you,,the angler will fish with his feet.
Out of respect i will not name the fishery or person involved or the people that passed on this information.

Black Gnat,
I and others would appreciate it if you kept to the facts and not to a discussion by the river bank. Further more information like this should be kept to yourself. I feel this information is of no benefit to anyone and not something I think we need to know about.

This Topic is being locked

The reasons this fishery closed are nuthin to do with us, so ther should be no discussion about it,

I see no need for this to be dicussed, Black Gnat fair enough you where told this but by posting this you  are demeaning the fishery manager in question and open yourself to slander case

so in the future watch what you are posting

I totally endorse Chris's view that this thread be locked.
It serves not purpose to this or any other forum.
