Shimna River, Newcastle

Hello all.
Would anyone have any info or tips for the Shimna?
Know it's mostly famous for it's sea trout, but we're hitting it tomorrow (sat) after a last-minute change of venue. Never had a throw on it before.
Have sussed out day tickets (£10 for DCAL holders). But other than that I know nothin about this water. Would appreciate it folks.
Many thanks. PMs welcome.

PS. Will do a report for y'all.  Very Happy
Tight lines!
