Straid Fishery

hey i was jus wondering if any1 had fished straid recently, was thinking bout getn a day down on it cause i bn saying i will for ages and wondering what flies doing the shizz so i can get sum tied up

wud fone adrian but in holland atm and it wud cost me a fortune

thats not a good sign, especially as sundays are usually a busy day for fisheries, wot was the weather like?

not good. bet you will not be doing that again in a hurry.
are they still having trouble with oil polution. last time i went there was oil slicks everywhere

I think the oil problem has been resolved. Cant speak of the place lately as I have not fished it since August last.

I left Straid at 4-30 yesterday and it was still open then. Confused

The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago. I was up fishing with my dad but when we finished we noticed that there was no one about. A guy arrived as we were packing up. I'm assuming the chap in charge had to run some sort of errand but he did seem to be away quite some time.
