Brantry loughfished brantry lough last thursday from boat.
Seen some mayfly hatch and a lot of buzzer.
We caught six fish between the two of us on claret bumbles and claret and mallard wets.
Fish finder was showing a lot of fish in the deeper parts between 15 feet and 30 feet.
Lots of small stockies, similar to louchbrickland and castlewellan.
Must be a new stocking policy nothing over a pound!!!

Those fish will soon be movin up,just hold onto your rod is all i can say.
1600 fish so far this year,up to 1lb.
I had a beauty on sunday mornin, wind was blowin across from the main car park.Under the trees on this side was as flat as a witches t1t.
I spotted fish movin above the 3rd stand so made my way up,they were still showin when i got up.I greased up a new cast with a single grey duster as the fish were just sippin, flicked the duster out to about 30 feet, barely had time to get in contact with it when it disappeared, after what seemed an age,i netted a fully spotted fully finned beauty of 3lb 2oz.
