i am fishing the waterworks pike competition on the 29th march along with my brother ben, its 2 man teams, i was just wondering does anyone know which dead baits the pike from the waterworks are most responsive to, any info would really help.

Have fished a few comps there.
Successful deadbaits in the past have been Joey mackeral & pollen.
The big Rainbows love them too!
Tight lines! |

i have been told to make sure my baits are big or i will be plagued by bows all day (normally not a bad thing) but since its a pike comp. i have also been told the lamprehy is a deadly bait. im a coarse fisherman by trade but pike are deffinatly my week point as i never catch enough.
